BIG TOM Posted March 6, 2011 #1 Posted March 6, 2011 I think a one of your pygmies attached themselves to my bike at MD last year...must have hidden in my saddlebags....Have been having a string of bad luck with the house.....well, I decieded to set a few traps for it...WELL ......CAUGHT ONE THIS MORNING.....they are nasty little cusses when caught in a trap. Dang thing nearly chewed thru it own leg to get out.....and smell....whew....well, an old Lewieville slugger took care of that one...hope it was the only one that hitched a ride home with me....your gonna have to check your bike more careful before you leave for Freebirds this year.....or park far, far, away from everyone else..
BoomerCPO Posted March 6, 2011 #2 Posted March 6, 2011 Big Tom I'm glad you wuz successful in catching and disposing of ONE.....Try dealing with 24 of them little runts and you'll get more exercise than you kin handle. Boomer....who sez they always escape in pairs and multiply faster than mice.... ps: They did a great job of keeping those pond monsters in check at Don's last year....I'll give em dat.
BIG TOM Posted March 6, 2011 Author #3 Posted March 6, 2011 PAIRS.... OH NO !!!...Ifs thats true, the other one is really gonna be PO'ed at what I did this morning.....
Bubber Posted March 6, 2011 #4 Posted March 6, 2011 Boomer, how did you fair with the rash of bad weather down in La-weeze-ann-er this last week. It was on the news here that Rayne was hit real hard and lost lots of buildings. Hope all is good with you folks. Maybe you all should come to Minnesota where all is good if'n you like 20 degree weather for 6 months out of the year.
BoomerCPO Posted March 6, 2011 #5 Posted March 6, 2011 Big Tom....Batten down yer hatches my friend. H*ll hath no fury like a p*ssed off pygmie or a drunken red-headed woman. A call to your National Guard may be needed to save yer a**............ Bubber....We faired OK with the bad weather. Rayne and Crowley took tornado hits with moderate damage and no loss of life. Here we caught heavy rain and a grunch of high winds.... which cleared the trees of leaves and p*ssed the local squirrel population to no end. Boomer....who sez he'll never live in SNOW country ever agin cuz it's too hard to knock dem icicles off his butt.
mini-muffin Posted March 6, 2011 #6 Posted March 6, 2011 Sorry Bubber I can't see anyone leaving the warmer south for 20 degrees half the year. Just one question isn't that a bit optimistic temp wise? Don't you all get colder then that? I mean ya are kinda north, dang near in Canada. Margaret
Bubber Posted March 6, 2011 #7 Posted March 6, 2011 Mini Actually it is 73 degrees year round, we just tell everybody that it is colder than a witch's @#$% in a brass bra to keep the population to a manageable number. We wouldn't want all those undesirables to get wind of the truth.
BoomerCPO Posted March 6, 2011 #8 Posted March 6, 2011 73 degrees year round? :rotf: Boomer....who sez dat's just the climate all de pygmies have been looking fer.
mini-muffin Posted March 6, 2011 #9 Posted March 6, 2011 OK I was born at night (really was) but not last night. You can try that whole it's really warm thing on someone who's never been up north. I hear you got 4 season's and the warm ones are like a week each right?:crackup::crackup: Margaret

mini-muffin Posted March 7, 2011 #12 Posted March 7, 2011 Well Bubber I got a nice hardly used bridge to sell ya. Also got some really nice land just perfect for making into a lake (they call it swamp land, but what do they know). Also got a lead on some ocean front property in Arizona. So whatcha think?:crackup::crackup::crackup::crackup::crackup: Margaret

mini-muffin Posted March 7, 2011 #14 Posted March 7, 2011 Yeah the weather channel is saying something about you folks getting more of that frozen white sunshine this week. Not that any of us in the south would rub that in. Nope not me anyway. I think we need to take over one of the southern states and have all the venture riders move into it. What do you all think? Margaret

Reddog170 Posted March 7, 2011 #16 Posted March 7, 2011 Hey I live in Iowa and have rode every month of the year for the last two years. Even if it was around the block. I grew up in an awesome 73 degree year round state. May have to move farther away from there... Hmmm
mini-muffin Posted March 7, 2011 #17 Posted March 7, 2011 Hey it don't count if you have the bike on ski's and are being pulled around by sled dogs.:crackup::crackup: Just love it when the new folks jump right in and join the fun. Margaret
