Lilbeaver... I purchased a yamaha 12" shield that is also wider than stock. So far I like it a lot better than stock. I am still interested in trying an even lower shield, maybe a 9" or even lower.

Haven't read all the forum on this subject...(getting carried away?) But I've found the part number of the 9" shiled I have stored: STR-4XY 02-20-00.

P.S. Anyone know if there is a chrome (or metal) speaker cover for the back seat? Seems my back seat bag has damamge the plastic cover...Ifn one's not available I'll make one..plastic is too fragile....
