During a recent round of VR scavenger hunt the target was musems and I was wondering if anyone had ever been to the Classic Bike Musem in Ashboro NC?

It's four hours from Charleston so I was thinking about making it a day trip and wanted to see if it was worth it.

Says largest private collection of Harleys. A bit one-sighted for me. Admission though is free, can't beat the price! If I'm passing by it is on the list . Thanks:thumbsup2:

about 15 miles from me but in the 11 yrs. i've lived here i have not been inside. been told it's worth the admission (lol). if you're planning on going you should also go to Richard Petty's museum it's only 20 minutes from there.

Been there done that.There is a good restaurant on the first floor under the museum.Lot of really old things in there.

There is a small, but good Aviation Museum (WWII) in Ashboro.

 

The first week in July there is the Old Thresher's Reunion about 10 miles west of Ashboro, at Denton Farm Park. If you like antiques, you can spend a day there.

You have to go through the food (dining room) to get to the stairs to the museum.
