When you put your Flanders bars on did you have to swap out the throttle cables AND the hydraulic hoses? And where did you get these items?

 

My local dealer does not have any extra length cables for the Venture. But then they have a tendency to stick with just a couple of suppliers.

I know he had to put longer cables when he switched over because I brought them to him. Scott (Tartan Terror) was able to get them for him, but I'm not sure exactly what they ordered. Don wasn't able to get them where he lives but Scott was able to get them through our dealer here in NY.

Yes, I changed out BOTH. Throttle cables and brake lines. Some have said that you can reroute and get the old ones to work but I don't recommend it and besides, SS brake lines are the way to go for many reasons. As for the brake lines, I bought them from a place that I would NOT recommend to anybody here. RickH at Buckeye has what you need and knows what to send you.
