Used Red Loctite to take motor apart

Have the motor out of the scooter do do a few enhancements on it and had a problem last night.

 

I was able to get 15 of the 16 head studs out of the block, and literally the last one I went to do would not budge with a double nut setup.

 

Put Red Loctite on nuts and let it cure over night, and still wasn't budging. A little more torque with a pipe wrench and it let go.

 

I was getting concerned.

 

Never used Loctite to disassemble something before.

Yep, that is a new use. Now you need HEAT to get that red death coated stuff apart Putting in stronger rods that will handle the 200 shot of nitrous ?

Actually,the nuts came off the stud without heat.

 

I wouldn't have to pull head studs to change rods ! !
