1st Gen lift adaptor?

Ok....I bought a lift for my '84 yesterday, and other projects, and have been looking at the clearance issue with the pipes. In reading the older threads the general acceptable idea was to simpley lift it by the pipes. Yeah I know, tough stuff, double wall and all that but looking for a better idea. And hockey pucks are NOT in the game plan.

 

In talking with Dano he's onto the same idea I'm looking at as I want it to be one piece and able to slip it under from the front and line up with both frame rails so a "U" shape is interesting.

 

So you 2nd Gen guys have Carbon One and his adaptor........... So any 1st Gen guys out there with a design idea or an adaptor you made?
