Condor Posted February 19, 2011 #1 Posted February 19, 2011 Just viewed this Video on another board. I found it worth watching. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eqQBubilSXU]YouTube - Crash Course - The SMIDSY[/ame]
aspen60 Posted February 19, 2011 #2 Posted February 19, 2011 Interesting way to look at it, weaving back and forth to be seen, never would have thought of that.
ragtop69gs Posted February 19, 2011 #3 Posted February 19, 2011 I have always done that when approaching cross traffic or left turning opposing traffic. Bright lights and weave. Don't forget to cover your brake when faced with this situation. Be ready.
Aimhigh Posted February 19, 2011 #4 Posted February 19, 2011 Thanks for the posting. No matter how old we are or how many hours on the bike...we can all learn something...or at least be reminded!
Marcarl Posted February 19, 2011 #5 Posted February 19, 2011 So, another tool to add to my arsenal. Need to practise that one so that it becomes a natural as well.
Uturn Posted February 19, 2011 #6 Posted February 19, 2011 Thanks for the post -- we ALL need re-enforcement of safety techniques.... MIKE aka Uturn
Drkngas Posted February 19, 2011 #7 Posted February 19, 2011 Well I watched the video then drove around the neighborhood on the left side of the road. Seemed more dangerous to me.
slowrollwv Posted February 19, 2011 #8 Posted February 19, 2011 I did that weaving trick once, got a pass to the state troopers ball. They tell me that is reckless driving here in WV. So I put a headlight modulator in, took care of that situation in a hurry.
Yammer Dan Posted February 19, 2011 #9 Posted February 19, 2011 If they would drive on the right side of the road it would help!!! Just kidding. We just need to keep watching they are all out to kill us.
