royalstar09 Posted February 15, 2011 Author #5 Posted February 15, 2011 Why did you have to split it twice...? Your comment sort of leaves you wide open in that you made a mistake the first time.. First time was to inspect and order stuff to change the dash light color. Second time (today) is to access the clear lower covers as I am spraying them with lense tent. BTW they are looking really good. The hard part is waiting for the "tack" time between coats for wetsanding.
kj5ix Posted February 15, 2011 #7 Posted February 15, 2011 I just put Velcro on mine while I was rebuilding it,,,,,,,,
SilvrT Posted February 15, 2011 #8 Posted February 15, 2011 Splitting the front fairing Less then a week owned, second time I had it apart. Glad its easy..... Before long you'll be able to do it with your eyes closed..... like me! Seeing as you raised the Q on the zipper, .................. I'll take the first one off your production line...
Pegasus1300 Posted February 17, 2011 #9 Posted February 17, 2011 RoyalStar09 So what did you use for lense tint and where did you get it? I would like to tint the lower part of my RSTD a blue to match the bike.
