GolfVenture Posted February 13, 2011 #1 Posted February 13, 2011 If 8 fl oz for a M/C is recommended for the 1st time, then would 32 fl oz for a 20 gal tank be recommended for a truck or is that too much for a 1st time. The truck runs fine its just that it is a 1993 and thought a clean up probably be good for it.

I let the tank get 1/2 full dump in 2 cans drive around town and than let it sit over nite than drive it until the tank reads E . my car don't run very good until i have filled it up after running the seafoam out . It sure helps clean the carb. and the 460 lov's a clean carb !

Guest Posted February 13, 2011 #7 Posted February 13, 2011 Ive been using Seafoam in the cars for years. Just dump a can in with a tank of gas and your set. Now, if you have one of those vehicles with a 40 gallon tank, well, maybe you need a few cans.....

I store 2 boats, 2 riding lawn mowers, weed eater, chains saws, 1 wave runner, 2 cars, 2 motorcycles, 1 generator and have never had a starting problem. YES... I do spend a bit in the fall but I have learned that is pays off in the spring when I want things to start. I thing I have stop doing is filling fuel tanks with enthonal gas for winter storage. Cb
mini-muffin Posted February 13, 2011 #9 Posted February 13, 2011 I've used it in the cars for a while. Haven't used it in the truck, but it's fairly new (only a 2010) so I don't think it would be necessary yet. Yep I've also used it in the riding mower. Margaret
