passenger floor board relocation

How much adjustment is there in regards to passenger floor board location options. Just wondering are there any complaints of the passenger calves riding on the front edge of the bags making it uncomfortable. I am having a 05 RSTD delivered from CA soon and trying to surprise the wife.

 

So are there any complaints if so what has been done to correct it?
