Redneck Posted February 12, 2011 #1 Posted February 12, 2011 Got home today and Wolfie came out and told me her wolf got bit by a rattle snake. My response was bs we have been setting record lows for the last 2 weeks it was 8 degrees this morning. She says come here and sure enough snake pieces scattered around the yard she shot it twice with a 20 gauge shot gun. She saw it bite her wolf above his eye and later we discovered our 18+ year old lab got bit on the snout as well. I can't believe a snake is out already.
Squidley Posted February 12, 2011 #2 Posted February 12, 2011 Damn! are the dogs doing ok or did you have to take them in and have them checked?
Redneck Posted February 12, 2011 Author #3 Posted February 12, 2011 Damn! are the dogs doing ok or did you have to take them in and have them checked? The wolf is walking around with a swollen eye crying the lab is laying on his orthopedic bed he did eat his can of dog food but not his glucosamine pill. There is not much the vet can do at this point they will get over it.
