Guest scarylarry Posted February 8, 2011 #1 Posted February 8, 2011 Harbor Freight has float chargers on sale for 4.99
mini-muffin Posted February 8, 2011 #2 Posted February 8, 2011 Evidently any purchase over 19.99 you get a free flashlight. I think that's just online though. Margaret
Yammer Dan Posted February 8, 2011 #3 Posted February 8, 2011 Just about all Motorcycle Mags have a 20% off coupon in them.
Guest scarylarry Posted February 8, 2011 #4 Posted February 8, 2011 12.99 "regular price "-20%= 10.39
Yammer Dan Posted February 8, 2011 #5 Posted February 8, 2011 I've had one of the float chargers for 4 or 5 yrs. Still works good. They also have a Moly-Graph Multi-Purpose Grease It is a Lithium 12 Hydroxy Stearate Base grease Color: Black N.L.G.I. No:. Grade 2 Drop Point: 360 Degrees F min Water Resistance: Excellent Timken OK Load 40 Lbs. As good as the Honda stuff?? It would save a lot of money. I think I paid about 5 bucks for three 3 oz tubes Anybody know anything about it? Harbor Freight is a great place to save a few bucks but you got to watch . They have their share of cheap junk. I have a lot of their tools I use to work with. when I need a good tool I still go get my Chraftsman. Great place for sandpaper and buffing supplies.
bongobobny Posted February 8, 2011 #6 Posted February 8, 2011 I have to discipline myself to stay away from that place, I spend waaaaaay too much money there...
Flyinfool Posted February 8, 2011 #7 Posted February 8, 2011 The description for that float charger specifically states "Not for use on AGM batteries". Just something to keep in mind since some of us are using the AGM batteries.
Venturous Randy Posted February 8, 2011 #10 Posted February 8, 2011 I get mailed stuff and the coupon had the $59.95 non contact laser temp gauge for $25.95. I bought one and took it to work and compared with the certified one and it stayed with-in one degree. I'm happy as it works great in comparing exhaust pipe temps. RandyA

Warden claims I can't be trusted there....

SC89Venture Posted February 9, 2011 #13 Posted February 9, 2011 Friends don't let friends use Harbor Freight sockets. Other stuff is pretty good for home use.

In the H-F catalog I found Sta-Lube Moly-Graph® Extreme Pressure Multi-Purpose Lithium Grease http://www.harborfreight.com/media/catalog/product/cache/1/image/370x/9df78eab33525d08d6e5fb8d27136e95/i/m/image_819.jpg Click HERE to go to the H-F webpage Sta-Lube is a CRC brand product. And according to the MSDS I found HERE it is only 0.2 - 1% Moly while Honda Moly60 is 40% Moly.... quite a difference. Get Honda Moly60 for your splines!!!!!!!!!!!! your bike will thank you!!!!!! Yammer Dan Posted February 9, 2011 #15 Posted February 9, 2011 Thats it. Not really a great one then. I'll use up what I have of it since I lube mine everytime I burn rear tire off. Looks like it will be OK for it.
