At first I thought it was going to be a copy of Plasti-Fix. I used that product to fix the trunk on my '86 VR that was almost in THREE parts (Base, bottom surround, and lid!) An hours work each of two days fixed the part and it is holding well.

 

Plast-aid seems similar, but doesn't set up quite as quick, and adding color to it is also nice.

 

With Plasti-fix, it comes in black and white I think, an d for my black trunk, I just used the black option, and since the cracks were not easily visible from outside, I didn't even worry about sanding or painting.

I'm not throwing off on either above mentioned products, just adding one more. I use plastex and it is the simplest and easiest product I've used. Its great for fixing or rebuilding broken tabs, repairing stripped out threads in plastic and great for fixing broken plastic parts. Give it a look see..... www.plastex.net
