State laws regarding motorcycles

Was following a thread that mentioned American Motorcyclist magazine and a letter how racers were spoiling riding for the rest of us. Couldn't read the letter without signing up with them but did find this interesting pdf about the different State laws regarding riding.

While I appreciate your intent, that link is NOT a history of helmets. It reads a lot more like an strongly biased opinion piece with a gung ho slant towards mandatory helmet use.
