george c Posted February 4, 2011 #1 Posted February 4, 2011 woke up at about 3:30 having a small seizure. The wife gets me up at 7:30 to take my meds. Go to make some coffee and the coffee pot is broke (wont turn on) What's next. I hate days like this. George C.
Venturous Randy Posted February 4, 2011 #2 Posted February 4, 2011 Well, at least it is Friday and off for the weekend for me. I hope it gets better for you and your wife is going to be ok. RandyA
Squidley Posted February 4, 2011 #3 Posted February 4, 2011 Hang in there brother, it's gonna warm up this weekend and atleast the sun will shine on your face at some point.
george c Posted February 4, 2011 Author #4 Posted February 4, 2011 Ya but the broke coffee pot just got to me. Do you know what coffee taste like when you have to make it in the microwave?? I still don't trust my balance yet to use the stove. George C.
bongobobny Posted February 4, 2011 #5 Posted February 4, 2011 We always have a spare coffeemaker just in case!! I do not function without my morning java... By any chance was your coffee maker a Cusenart?? We had 3 of them go bad! They were handled under warranty, but I will never own another one. We have good luck (so far) with Hamilton Beach ones. We like the programable ones so the coffee is readsy when I get up. We have hard water, so for us to get more than a couple of years out of one is doing good, but at least they still work unlike the Cusi's we owned that went completely dead.
etcswjoe Posted February 4, 2011 #6 Posted February 4, 2011 (edited) Coffee there is your problem, never touched the stuff. Hope you get to feeling better, have a great weekend. Edited February 4, 2011 by etcswjoe Still can't spell
