J&M 2003B intercom prob

I bought a J&M 2003B, cb-intercom, its on a 09 RSTD,cb is ok. I also instaled a Jensen JHD910 fm radio that is great except that if i run my J&M intercom volume high enough to talk, it makes a loud hissing-crackling noise, too loud to listen to radio. To use intercom , rider slaps me on helmet telling me to turn FM radio off & intercom on. Talking over the hissing is no prob but for nearly $1000 bucks, I feel that the intercom shouldnt hiss. The FM radio is clear.

 

Anybody else have this prob?

I would suggest you call J&M tech support they should be able to help you.

Is this a politically uncorrect subject or something? shurely somebody has a RSTD with a J&M cb
