Condor Posted February 3, 2011 #1 Posted February 3, 2011 I really feel fortunate to be living here in NorCal and the Pacific West with it's balmy 36deg weather. For the rest of the US, except for SoFla, it's brutal out there. Ouch!!! http://vortex.plymouth.edu/uschill.gif

It show 40 degs now where this AM it was 36... Cool!!!
Black Owl Posted February 4, 2011 #5 Posted February 4, 2011 Don't need to have no stinkin map to tell me it's cold. Actually it's damn cold. Spent all day working outside on two burned vehicles. Really fun trying to chip ice while at the same time trying not to destroy any thing trapped in and under the ice.
Texaskid Posted February 4, 2011 #6 Posted February 4, 2011 Well last night it was -13 and at 11:00 this morning it was -3 and the high was 10. Now no natural gas for the heater so had to go buy space heaters. Truck barely started and have to use 4 wheel drive to get any where. I-25 was shut down for most of the day yesterday

Condor Posted February 6, 2011 Author #16 Posted February 6, 2011 Holy Ratfeathers!!! Mom nature sure turned up the heat. 77degs this afternoon. Checked on Miss Piggy... Yep, she's still there. Fired her up without any low batt problems... Deka batt in case anyone's interested, and it's been 2 1/2 months since the last time she'd run. And the radio/audio came on when I turned the key. Added a little Sea Foam and let her run for about a half hour. Fan cycled several times.

hilligan Posted February 6, 2011 #18 Posted February 6, 2011 Thursday morning, 2-3-11, it was -31 here in Alamosa. Axe me how I know. Big Hint Here: If you know it's gonna get that cold, fill your tank the day before. Never knew fingers could hurt that bad without smashing them.
