haven't replaced the FRONT tire yet but when I do it'll most likely be the Avon Cobra. Looks like that'll happen sometime this season

Haven't replaced any of my tires yet, but when I do it will be with the Avon Venom. Ran them on my other bikes and loved them.

I'm running a Dunlop 404 Rear tire on the front.. Getting ready to install my 3rd CT on my bike.. I couldn't score a Kumho anywhere so I'm gonna try a Nexen this time..

Understandably, MOST motorcycle riders use motorcycle tires...

Perhaps a poll could be started "what MC tires do you use on front and back"? then we could see what the majority of riders are using?

I think there may be some confusion to some members that may not know what the Dark Side is.....It is running a car tire on the rear of your RSV or RSTD.

I have Wanderer's "old Venture".

He had a Khumo CT on the rear and he LOVED it.

 

I put 1000 quick miles on it then changed out to a Venom before a big road trip.

I could knit-pick,,, but I like bike tires.

 

Can't publish what Wanderer said when I told him. LOL

TED,,, Spring is coming. I will still gladly lend you the bike for a weekend if you come this way. Let me know.

When I was in Sumter, the mechanic told me about this bike. I said this is Mike's bike and told him who the original owner was. He said that "Da&&" car tire sucks. Never will he put one on his ventures. :rotf:

Mark, The Nexen I had was very thin in the sidewalls and flexed much more than the Kumho. I wouldn't buy another one.
