My wife is going in for surgery today at 8:30 to correct a broken nose that she got playing baseball as a little girl. Please wish her luck and keep her in your prayers this morning. Thanks Joe

When I was in college I broke my leg in three places playing softball. My roommate in the hospital had had a deviated septum fixed.

The doctors could not understand why he wasn't healing. Turns out the girls in the sorority house below our window were sunbathing topless on the roof. My roommate was spending all day with his face pressed to the window.

Tell your wife to avoid that if she wants a speedy recovery.

Use to ride my mc to work with a leg in a cast and crutches across my back with a bungee cord. Use to get some looks but they would see me in my Ranger uniform and realize I was crazy long before I broke that leg. Wish I had pictures!!

Just prayed for your wife here! With prayers from this bunch you know she is surrounded with love from the Big MC Rider in the sky!!

Had that surgery many years ago, and still enjoy the benefits to this day. All the best to her in her recovery. Should be a piece of cake.

(Just looked at the clock. Hope it went well!)

We thank you for all the well wishes and prayers.

They must have worked as we're home now and shes eating jello and cottage cheese...YuK!

Woman Dr. told me she is not to do anything thay will raise her blood pressure. No sneezing, blowing her nose, lifting weights, running.

The most strenuous thing she can do is go for walks around the lake.

Thank God she likes to quilt!

Glad to hear it Joe and remember, when they take the bandage off to tell her that it makes her look ten years younger!:thumbsup2:
