Snarley Bill Posted January 30, 2011 #26 Posted January 30, 2011 never tried it with a bike. was it good? lawn mowers are more fun. lots of vibrations there.
Guest Swifty Posted February 27, 2011 #27 Posted February 27, 2011 (edited) How many times have you done it, Swifty? I've "done it" so many times, Charlie, that I don't keep track. AND unlike you, I use 'em up till they don't put out anymore. Sooo, the GOLD JEWELRY arrived this week, I got down on one knee before the ole girl and said..."will you....take me for another ride?" And she said, "Put me on a highway, show me a sign, take me to the limit one more time..." (I found my Eagles tape; at least the tape deck still works) Edited February 27, 2011 by Swifty
BradT Posted February 27, 2011 #28 Posted February 27, 2011 So where are the pictures of the whole bike ? Brad
stardbog Posted February 28, 2011 #31 Posted February 28, 2011 you are crazy dave. Good one is this time you didnt do work in your living room. Did you get new engine , or this is rebuild one? :sign killer dude:
Guest Swifty Posted March 31, 2011 #32 Posted March 31, 2011 (edited) I shovelled the back yard, rolled her down the ramp, set up the camera in the snow bank, turned the key a couple of times to load the carbs with fuel, exercised the starter motor as you will see in the video, no leaks, a little bit of smoke from the new exhaust gaskets, BradT came over with the carbtune .... so far so good... Evan Posted March 31, 2011 #36 Posted March 31, 2011 Congrats Dave. I know how much work you put into this. Hope your new ride puts a big grin on your face - and let's you go even faster.
E-Fishin-C Posted March 31, 2011 #38 Posted March 31, 2011 I've "done it" so many times, Charlie, that I don't keep track. AND unlike you, I use 'em up till they don't put out anymore. Swifty ,The only reason I let go my scoots go Is that when you are on a FIXED income And have the opportunity to make $$ and try out a new Scoots without adding any funds when I started out with . Its worth it and I finally found the scoot that I love right now (Yah Right)
