Mel Posted January 18, 2011 #1 Posted January 18, 2011 A flock of at least 30 robins in the yard, maybe up to 50 or so. Seems strange to see that many together at once, this far north (Indianapolis), at this time of year. Usually only see them in pairs and/or when nesting in the spring/summer.
Yammer Dan Posted January 18, 2011 #2 Posted January 18, 2011 We don't see them til Spring. Maybe they know something we don't??
Michael_Bishop Posted January 18, 2011 #3 Posted January 18, 2011 The wife and I have notice the Robins here in the back yard this winter. We don't normally see them till March. Southside Indianapolis.
phill12 Posted January 18, 2011 #4 Posted January 18, 2011 We have notice some here in oklahoma. Had 3 in the yard yesterday! Hurry up spring!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Scooter Bob Posted January 18, 2011 #5 Posted January 18, 2011 I think they got a late start heading south, and then hit that snow storm down south, and figured they're better off in Indy.:rotfl: :banana:Can't wait till they get back up here. Later, Scooter Bob
