dingy Posted January 13, 2011 #1 Posted January 13, 2011 (edited) Below are some pictures of the first four panels from my cousins HD Road Glide. All are being done in a horror film/Halloween theme, with a different theme on each panel. Though side covers, which appear to both be pumpkins. Most of the characters in the panels have been modified to resemble Hogs. The left side of the tank is Freddie Kruger, but with hog features. Not for most people, but what he wanted. There is some extreme detail in theses. The guy that is doing them has put about a week in the tank alone. His bike is the orange on on the right in the last picture as it was. rod Posted January 13, 2011 #2 Posted January 13, 2011 Nice work there. Not my style but very good job on the paint. If I were to buy a HD that would be my choice; but not that color. I like the blue much better. Rod
Carbon_One Posted January 13, 2011 #3 Posted January 13, 2011 Like you said it's a love/hate relationship for paint like that. I'm not a fan of these type graphics either but can appreciate the amount of work and time put into doing this paint job. Your cousin is the one who has to be happy with the finished paint. Larry
Aussie Annie Posted January 13, 2011 #4 Posted January 13, 2011 Standard of the paint work is great. The design ???????? Is your cousin a happy person/ just askin'
dingy Posted January 13, 2011 Author #5 Posted January 13, 2011 Standard of the paint work is great. The design ???????? Is your cousin a happy person/ just askin' Actually he is an upbeat person in general. He is in his late 30's. I was some what surprised by the theme. But it is not like skulls and that stuff. He didn't actually specify the exact scope of the airbrushing. The painter used his artistic skills for the specifics. My cousin, actually it is my cousins son's bike, picked out the themes for each panel and the general idea. One of the panels has Vincent Price on it, so that sort of leaves out the younger group. He is just a fan of horror movies in general. Bike was the bright HD orange 2007 model, always called it a pumpkin, so the Halloween theme sort of blended in with the color. Gary
Lone Eagle Posted January 13, 2011 #6 Posted January 13, 2011 great job on the paint scheme - the painter is very talented.

Flyinfool Posted January 13, 2011 #8 Posted January 13, 2011 I have to agree that while it is not my style, the workmanship is fantastic.
MasterGuns Posted January 13, 2011 #9 Posted January 13, 2011 I think the one in the middle works down the hall.
exrsa1 Posted January 13, 2011 #10 Posted January 13, 2011 The work is fantastic. Any idea what the cost is for this work?
Sideoftheroad Posted January 13, 2011 #11 Posted January 13, 2011 pic 5 looks like a demented miss piggy.
dingy Posted January 13, 2011 Author #12 Posted January 13, 2011 The work is fantastic. Any idea what the cost is for this work? $5,000 for all the panels. Gary
SMSgt Posted January 13, 2011 #13 Posted January 13, 2011 No offence to your cousin but you could put those on any HD and make a pretty good boat anchor. I guess my tastes aren't that cool. I rather like most the HD colors from the factory.
okiestar Posted January 13, 2011 #14 Posted January 13, 2011 I was some what surprised by the theme. But it is not like skulls and that stuff LOL, skulls and stuff would be pretty childish compared to razor fisted hogs! Should look awesome in next years toys for tots run. Kids will love it :yikes:
