Aussie Annie Posted January 12, 2011 #1 Posted January 12, 2011 Found this site, and the cruiser pegs are interesting. Especially if your legs don't reach forward enough to the crash bars http://www.aeromachmfg.com thought someone might want a look-see
Owen Posted January 12, 2011 #2 Posted January 12, 2011 I run a similar set up. These are Yamaha branded and made for the roadstars... http://i521.photobucket.com/albums/w337/Owen064/IMG_0295.jpg http://i521.photobucket.com/albums/w337/Owen064/IMG_0299.jpg
generallee68 Posted January 12, 2011 #3 Posted January 12, 2011 Is anyone running these kind of pegs????
Freebird Posted January 12, 2011 #4 Posted January 12, 2011 I think they look good but would not work at all for me. I like highway pegs so that I can stretch out my long legs. It looks like those would allow you to raise your feet a bit and perhaps just a little extension for those with shorter inseams but for those with long legs, would be very uncomfortable. I still think that the KuryAkyn's with the offsets are the best choice. For those with long legs, you can rotate them forward and stretch out...for those with shorter inseams, you can rotate them back and get close to the same as those are.
generallee68 Posted January 12, 2011 #5 Posted January 12, 2011 Where is the best place to get the kuryakyn with the offset pegs. locally they want a arm and a leg.
barend Posted January 12, 2011 #6 Posted January 12, 2011 Where is the best place to get the kuryakyn with the offset pegs. locally they want a arm and a leg. I've got a set of boards that will do the same thing, they are basically brand new. Should be in classifieds.
mountainhorsega Posted January 12, 2011 #7 Posted January 12, 2011 (edited) that mount on the floor boards - They rotate as well and will allow you to put them pretty far forward. The only issue is with the short offsets the pegs ride way out there and lower your lean angle. We drag the pegs all the time because of the short offsets. Longer offsets and they should be great - even for longer legged people. Edited January 12, 2011 by mountainhorsega
