Venturous Randy Posted January 11, 2011 #4 Posted January 11, 2011 On my hour long comute I saw no other bikes. Seems odd to me. We don't like bragging on this site as it is supposed to be about zero here in east Tennessee in the next night or so. RandyA

Herb In Texas Posted January 11, 2011 Author #6 Posted January 11, 2011 The point is, no other bikes. I usually see a couple but none today. even my boss drove his pickup. I didn,t find any ice on the way, till I pulled up to the shop and put my foot down on a small spot of it, nearly dropped the bike. But I must admit it was kinda cold. But the bike averages 40 or so a gal. the pickup lucky to get 12, minor discomfort to save some cash, to me an even trade.
Herb In Texas Posted January 11, 2011 Author #7 Posted January 11, 2011 Only 19 It was 16 here at 7:30 and I ain't but a 80 west of ya,,,,,,, Were you the lone bike also?

ragtop69gs Posted January 11, 2011 #13 Posted January 11, 2011 You'll all be longing for this weather when Global Warming finally set's in
jburrell Posted January 11, 2011 #14 Posted January 11, 2011 I just got off the phone with a friend living in North Dakota near the Canadian border. He said that since early this morning the snow has been nearly waist high and is still falling. The temperature is dropping way below zero and the north wind is increasing to near gale force. His wife has done nothing but look through the kitchen window and just stare. He says that if it gets much worse, he may have to let her in.
Dmnordin Posted January 11, 2011 #15 Posted January 11, 2011 I was wrong - the -5 was actually -13. Doug
Dano Posted January 11, 2011 #16 Posted January 11, 2011 You sissies down south just need to suck it up or we'll turn on the window fans and send some snow down to ya to go with that little bit of chill you got goin' on!!
SMSgt Posted January 11, 2011 #17 Posted January 11, 2011 It's not winter time it's mod time. This is why they invented heated garages.
