I just noticed that tomorrow's date will be 01/11/11

I think this seems like it could be a rather lucky day.

Might be a day to buy a lottery ticket, etc.

I wish you the best.

A coworker of mine has set their wedding date as 11:11AM on 11/11/11.

Needless to say her future husband had better not forget their anniversary.

I like that. I got up today at 5:45 AM as usual. We were supposed to get a snow storm. Nothing on the ground when I got up, no phone call received that school is delayed.

While drinking my coffee, I not really paying total attention to the news on TV. I imagine I see my schools name on a 2 hour delay. So now since there are hundreds of schools in our area, I thought well I will wait until I see it again. After realizing, now we are restarting at the "A" list, I go to my computer and pull up the fact that my school is on a 2 hour delay. So I am dressed, had two cups of coffee and of course, I am wide a wake. Maybe this is not a lucky day after all. Dern!

Be thankful Peggy. Where I come from the teachers and staff were still required to show up whether the buses were delayed or even if they didn't run at all. Some people will drive their kids to the baby sitter, I mean school, no matter what.

I remember two times that Leslie put the car in the ditch trying to get to work. She made it both times but the car didn't.

In my native country 11 is the number for loonies, so the 11th of the 11th (month) at 11:11 (pm!) is the start of carnival. Obviously the wedding should take place in the evening :cool17:

Thanks, I didn't know that. I spent a few years over there and those people do know how to throw a party!
