Guest HdHtr Posted January 15, 2011 #26 Posted January 15, 2011 Sounds like the surgery went well Steve. We will keep you and everyone around you and your recovery in our prayers. Once I got home and could sleep ... made a big difference! Hospitals are not known as quiet and restful places! It's day 13 now since my knee replacement, off the walker, just use a cane already ... PT is such fun but I bees getting around great! What is this? Your 3rd total something replacement? I've had three now (rt hip and rt knee, rt shoulder) and am putting off the left hip and knee for a year or longer if I can stand it!! Take care, keep us posted on how yous getting along! SteveD
99silver Posted January 15, 2011 #27 Posted January 15, 2011 TWINS, I Pray that the new one keeps up with his side kick !!!!!! and recovery goes well. Cause dab nabbit Jeb I'm probably not far behind you
SteveW Posted January 15, 2011 Author #28 Posted January 15, 2011 this is my third Rt Hip, Rt hip and now left knee. So far this has gone really good compaired to the rt. knee. Keep rebuilding me and I'll just keep on going. 3 days out of surgery and can put full weight on it and just use the walker for balance. I have an 80 degree movement in it and hope thing keep going this way. Your right a hospital is no place to get any sleep. Didn't sleep for 2 days so last night was a treat. have fun everyone and I'm looking forward to getting on the bike in a few months.
sarges46 Posted January 15, 2011 #29 Posted January 15, 2011 Glad that things went well for you Steve. We look forward to seeing you again someday.
PBJ Posted January 15, 2011 #30 Posted January 15, 2011 Steve glad to hear all went well , but maybe we should don change your name to "Aftermarket" now that ya got all these replacement parts in you.
allen Posted January 15, 2011 #31 Posted January 15, 2011 Steve, Glad all went well for you. Allen had both knees done a few years back and he says it was the best surgery he ever had. Knees are almost as good as new now.Do all the PT they want ya to do and you'll be back in the saddle sooner than you think. Wishing you a speedy recovery.Enjoy the rest while you can. Patti:223:
