Freebird Posted January 4, 2011 #1 Posted January 4, 2011 I got an email from Sean that he is now offering a new choke knob that matches the key cover that several of us have on our RSVs. I think it looks great and will be ordering one soon. He says that they are not yet on his website so to use the information in this flier if you wish to order one. http://www.venturerider.org/images/starparts.jpg
kenw Posted January 4, 2011 #3 Posted January 4, 2011 I might be missing something but what are the pills?
Naked Rider Posted January 4, 2011 #4 Posted January 4, 2011 do you have the web site i cant make out the words. thanks
Freebird Posted January 4, 2011 Author #5 Posted January 4, 2011 They are not yet on their website. If you click the area at the top of the picture though, it will expand to full size so that you can read it. The site is http://www.starparts.org
Freebird Posted January 4, 2011 Author #6 Posted January 4, 2011 LOL....to be honest, I didn't even notice the pills but it appears to be indicating that there is a small storage space in the chock knob. I guess.
Mel Posted January 4, 2011 #7 Posted January 4, 2011 Wa-a-a-ahh. With fuel injection we would not have a place for such a neat accessory. Aren't we lucky?
Sylvester Posted January 4, 2011 #9 Posted January 4, 2011 If I didn't already have a Barons ball milled knob, I would get one from Starparts.
Carbon_One Posted January 4, 2011 #10 Posted January 4, 2011 Dog Gone It!!! More bling... Very Cool..... Does it ever end?? Nope. The order is in thou. Love the key so this will match up well. Larry
Dave77459 Posted January 4, 2011 #11 Posted January 4, 2011 I've had the stealth key on my wish list for some time. Do y'all just keep it there all the time? Now I wonder what you could put in the secret storage spot instead of pills? I'm pretty sure they'd be dust in no time. Dave
rumboogy Posted January 4, 2011 #12 Posted January 4, 2011 I use the stealth key. I leave it in almost all the time. EXCEPT, when I am out of sight or when I stay overnight in motels. But in my garage, and on day trips...it stays in.

But in my garage, and on day trips...it stays in. I donno... I don't think I have the cajones to do that. As a creature of habit... good and bad... it's possible I might get sidetracked and forget to pull it.... So it's only in the ignition when I'm on the bike....

BAH, be a man and install a 12 gauge kill switch for your bike and leave the key in.. Someone asked me what a '12 gauge kill switch" was.. I showed them my semi-auto Remington Wingmaster... 'nuff said... Touch the bike, I touch the 12 gauge kill switch... Seen that one someone's bike one day.. thought it was very manly.. cough cough.. but it was on a woman's big bike so I kept my comments to myself.. just in case she really DID have such a switch.. ya never know..

Sort of funny when I take the bike for service at the Yamaha dealer the guys can't find the switch. Kinda gives you a lot of confidence don't it. Good looking choke cover. BOO
Drreb Posted January 5, 2011 #16 Posted January 5, 2011 Yep leave the key in most of the time will order the choke knob to match also. Gotta match!

Kinda gives you a lot of confidence don't it. Or go order some plugs for the bike and he brings you out "two spark plugs" for the 1300 Royal Star Venture.. Then I make him order me two more.. silly bunch at times.. You can't expect them to know 'everything' now can you?
Carbon_One Posted January 7, 2011 #20 Posted January 7, 2011 Wow 2 days and it's on my doorstep. Great service there. Not only that but the quality of the choke pull is top drawer.:thumbsup2: Larry
The Marshal Posted January 7, 2011 #21 Posted January 7, 2011 Just ordered mine to go with my Key. Yay! Sean is a great guy to deal with.
