Freebird Posted January 4, 2011 #26 Posted January 4, 2011 Yes, it will get better but I know that hearing that doesn't help at all right now. Now is the time for mourning your loss and remembering all the things that made her such a special person. Time for family to lean on each other and share the love that she instilled in you all. Our prayers will continue.
kenw Posted January 4, 2011 #27 Posted January 4, 2011 I'm sorry to hear of your loss. My prayers are with you!

elmicko Posted January 4, 2011 #30 Posted January 4, 2011 I have lifted you and your family up in prayer also. You will mourn her loss, but please take comfort in knowing where she is now and that she is reuniting with her loved ones that have gone one before.
Squidley Posted January 4, 2011 #31 Posted January 4, 2011 Mike, So sorry to hear of your mothers passing, knowing that she is not in pain or suffering any more is of hopefully some comfort. I'll pass this poem on to you as I believe it is very appropriate and try to hold it's words as a mantra when I think of loved ones that have passed. All the best to you and your family, and remember we are he for an ear to bend should you be inclined to do so.... Irish Tombstone Prayer Death is nothing at all, I have only slipped away into the next room. Whatever we were to eachother, that we are still Call me by my old familiar name, speak to me in the easy way which you always used to. Laugh as we always laughed together. Play, Smile, Think of me, Pray for me. Let my name be the household word that it always was, let it be spoken without effort. Life means all that it ever meant, it is the same as it ever was, there is absolutely unbroken continuity. Why should I be out of your mind because I am out of your sight? I am but waiting for you, for an interval, somewhere very near, just around the corner. All is well, nothing is past, nothing is lost. One brief moment and all will be as it was before...Only better, infinitely happier and forever we will all be one together with Christ
Iowawegian Posted January 4, 2011 #32 Posted January 4, 2011 Just want you to know.,....thoughts and prayers are with you.
