1rooster Posted January 1, 2011 #1 Posted January 1, 2011 Even though it rained all day I still got my annual New Years day ride in.The rain was coming down hard at times but the Frogg Toggs did their job.I didn't get over 25 mph or more than 20 miles from home so that makes for a long day. Can't figure out whats wrong with people,I didn't see another bike all day long.

I only got half the miles you did, but' they were all sunny and dry. I only saw 2 other riders. You'd think that after 8 weeks of lousy weather there would have been more.
Brake Pad Posted January 2, 2011 #3 Posted January 2, 2011 Well, I got my ride time in today. I did the M&E with ECK, his mom, BXMDad and his lovely lady. started out at 6:15 am, rode 207 miles to meet them for lunch @ 11 am. walked in the place @ 10:58 am. and 207 miles back home. I just walked in the door 414 for the day. some sun and tons of wind
kevin-vic-b.c. Posted January 2, 2011 #4 Posted January 2, 2011 Only a few miles today but good coffee and good friends. One of the guys was given an 03 Harley for christmas so he was happy to be out to show it off. The Venture shines every bit as nice as his does....lol Happy New year!
mini-muffin Posted January 2, 2011 #5 Posted January 2, 2011 We did about 300 today. Jeff had shoveled out a path from the driveway to the corner, just had to watch for the ice patches after that. Once we got on Hwy 17 we were pretty much ok. I attached a pic of the path he shoveled. That was Wed. but we still had plenty of snow left this morning. Lots of it melted today while we were gone. Dano Posted January 2, 2011 #7 Posted January 2, 2011 60f yesterday took care of the snow, rain last night cleared them off. A bit of sunshine this afternoon got me going, temps around 30f. But I got my ride in, only about 50 miles to go run some errands, but it's still a ride! BTW, I HOPE Santa brings me a pair of heated gloves next year!!
Yammer Dan Posted January 2, 2011 #8 Posted January 2, 2011 Nice here today but I didn't even open door. Dayquill and a day of ball games. Even the ball games sucked!!
