Aussie Annie Posted December 22, 2010 #1 Posted December 22, 2010 Okay, trip is booked and paid for!! Still having some trouble with seats for me [dang stiff leg] but will get it sorted. Borrowed from our super, but hope my claim settles early new year. :happy34:Here is our itinerary, but U.S. bits are subject to some change, depending on how I cope with pain.
halfwitt Posted December 22, 2010 #2 Posted December 22, 2010 Wow! If your driving tour of the east coast brings you through Baltimore, we would love to meet you!
Aussie Annie Posted December 22, 2010 Author #3 Posted December 22, 2010 Will try to log on each day, and then organize little M&E's to meet up with folks? Looks like lots of DQ
Wizard765 Posted December 22, 2010 #4 Posted December 22, 2010 This is AWSOME!! Looks like you are going to have a GREAT time and see lots. It's impossible to see everything but seeing lots and having some downtime every once in awhile to just chill and get to know a few people can be amazing. Looking forward to meeting you guys in person. Since I'm just down the road from Carl and Marca we will be seeing you early in the trip. Wayne
RandyR Posted December 22, 2010 #6 Posted December 22, 2010 quite an adventure. You'll see more of North America than many of us have ever seen.
friesman Posted December 22, 2010 #7 Posted December 22, 2010 Really looking forward to meeting up with you in Cody and touring Yellowstone with the bunch. Brian
mini-muffin Posted December 22, 2010 #8 Posted December 22, 2010 Wow that's a great trip. Randy's right you are gonna see more then most of us have. Glad you've got your schedule all figured out. Time will fly till it gets close then it'll feel like it slows way down. Margaret
Dano Posted December 22, 2010 #9 Posted December 22, 2010 If it were me, and I had a layover in Germany, I think I would add a second continent to the M&E schedule and give Squeeze a shout.........
saddlebum Posted December 22, 2010 #10 Posted December 22, 2010 Heading back in sept?????? I would have thought you would stick around just long enough to see some of the white stuff we are all so fond of up here. P/s dont forget to turn all your papers and books right side up before you start reading them, that goes for road maps too:rotfl::rotfl:Looking forward to seeing you in May.
Aussie Annie Posted December 22, 2010 Author #11 Posted December 22, 2010 It's the fact you drive on the wrong side of the road that worries me more :yikes:
Uturn Posted December 22, 2010 #12 Posted December 22, 2010 It's the fact you drive on the wrong side of the road that worries me more :yikes: Well, if needed, we do have ditches - But I don't recommend it, ask ECK. Looking forward to hope to meet you. MIKE aka Uturn
Aussie Annie Posted December 22, 2010 Author #13 Posted December 22, 2010 and if I end up in one do I say "Awwww Eck!" [sorry]

Wizard765 Posted December 22, 2010 #15 Posted December 22, 2010 Annie I cant see the file that is in DOCX I don't have the newer style Office just 2003 ver,, could you convert to either PDF or regular DOC. PDF would be universal and all can read it then. Thanks You cna get a compatability converter from Microsoft for free here.... http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/en/details.aspx?FamilyID=cf196df0-70e5-4595-8a98-370278f40c57&DisplayLang=en This will enable you to open the new format in your version. Both Word and Excel etc.
Flyinfool Posted December 22, 2010 #16 Posted December 22, 2010 It's the fact you drive on the wrong side of the road that worries me more :yikes: I think that you have that all upside down, maybe from hanging by you ankles upside down for your whole life. Here we drive on the right side of the road, it just makes sense to always keep to the right side of things. Look at marine or aviation law anywhere in the world, you always pass by an oncoming vehicle to the right. So there ....... I am really hoping to be able to make it to Dons MD this year to meet you and a lot of the other wild people from this site.
utadventure Posted December 22, 2010 #17 Posted December 22, 2010 Annie- Don't forget your English-American dictionary. :happy65: Look forward to having you with us. Dave & Jan

Borrowed from our super, but hope my claim settles early new year. :happy34:Here is our itinerary, but U.S. bits are subject to some change, depending on how I cope with pain. Annie, I see you are not flying out until Sep 16.... That would give you time to make the Pork in the Pines Pig Roast here in MN. Give you a chance to meet some really great folks, have some great food, and a whole lot more fun than Texas..... So, keep us in mind.....
Trader Posted December 22, 2010 #19 Posted December 22, 2010 if you decide to head east in Ontario, I'd be happy to spring for a dinner cruise in the 1000 Islands out of Kingston. I've got an "In" there. Some beautiful country up here if you can manage it. Just let me know and I'll meet up with you!
Squidley Posted December 22, 2010 #20 Posted December 22, 2010 and a whole lot more fun than Texas..... Keep it up you OLD bird Annie....were excited to have you both over here and we'll find you at some point along your adventure....maybe more BTW we WILL have a M&E here in Texas for you 2

Black Owl Posted December 22, 2010 #24 Posted December 22, 2010 Keep it up you OLD bird Damn, my eye sight is really gettingt bad. When I first read this, I thought you had spelt it with a "t". But then, as they say, you usually see what you expext rather than what is actually written.... HEY, here is a thought. You could act as the official escort for Annie and Allan and show them the way from Texas to the Pork in the Pines.... (but only if you bring my special girl friend with you )
Aussie Annie Posted December 22, 2010 Author #25 Posted December 22, 2010 Annie- Don't forget your English-American dictionary. :happy65: Look forward to having you with us. Dave & Jan I think you people are gonna need the dick-john-harry...wait till you try to figure out Quickstep's vocabulary:crackup:
