bill p Posted November 11, 2007 #2 Posted November 11, 2007 the description sounds like it is a solid product. Not going to be very good in a jacket.. I use the heating pad from auto seat covers . when a car is wrecked , and the side airbag deploys they must replace the seat cover . In the cover of most high line cars is a heating pad. Hook it to 12 volts and instant warmth. No need to regulate ,hook it thru a fuse and enjoy. Stop at all the body shops in your town and ask to speak to the technician who does the mechanical work, ask him if he will save you a few covers. The leather is also very useful for making other things, fringe and grip covers and fork tube protectors. Bill P P S I give 10 .00 for each seat cover ; works for me!
midnightventure Posted November 11, 2007 #3 Posted November 11, 2007 We have a wine chiller that works from the Peltier effect and it is not very effective.
