I'm getting to the point where I want to start looking at putting some time in on the '99. What I need from you folks here is this, I want to locate a smashed 2nd Gen, I dont care about the plastic. It obviously cant look like a pretzel, but I need the hardware off the bike and perhaps some of the sub assembly framework. I will go crazy trying to nickle and dime find all this stuff so I'd like to purchase a complete wrecked bike.

 

I will be watching Crashed Toys and other such sites, but if you could pass on info if you see a wrecked RSV in your local Craigslist or any other listings I would really appreciate it.

If I only had my wrecked 05 Venture now... I would have loved to see it come back alive.

Take a look at www.crankyape.com also. My cousin bought a boat off their and they love it.

I've seen Ventures on there once in a while. Usually, they aren't to damaged.

I found 3 RSV's on that website Kregger posted. all black - nice w/minimal damage.

seems like a lengthy process to "eventually" get your purchased bike.

make sure and read "how to buy" .
