Most of the older members know about the Driving light brackets that I made for my 1st gens for adding additional lights up higher. By keep them up higher it allows for better angling and free from road debris. They work great and will definitely brighten up the road and help you to be seen. They bolt on to where the horn originally goes and it takes about 10 minutes or less to install them on the bike. They only come in a Satin finish.

This is only for the brackets, you'll have to pick out what lights you like best. The $30.00 price includes the shipping in the continental US. Canada will be $5 more, I have a couple dozen of these left and when they are gone....I'm not making anymore of them. PM me if you have any questions.

He must be at work so I will answer for him.

I have a set on my 1sst gen.

If you look close on the picture you will see that the top of each mount is bent. At the top of that bend there is a hole for mounting the lights.

They go were the horns are mounted and replace the original horn mount. Yes, there is room to put the horn back on.

The pattern I have is a low spread. Really useless for seeing anything as I put in low wattage bulbs. The 1st gen charging system is not as good as it could be and running high wattage lamps tax the system (at least mine) so the point where my battery was draining.

But, it does give the triangle of light that will make you a little more visible as you go down the road.

Very nice work on those mounts as well.

Hey Squidley, how do the lights mount to the brackets? That is, what sort of light mount pattern are they designed for?

Thanks,

Jeremy

Jeremy,

The design is for any style of driving or fog light that you wish to put on them. Rick explained it perfectly, there are 3 holes in the bracket, 1 to mount it to the bike, 1 to install the stock horn back on and 1 on top for the driving light.

You will be able to adjust the light in whatever direction you wish. Mine were slightly angled towards the ditches for a full field of light on the road ahead. If you have any other questions you can PM me and we'll get all your questions answered :happy34:
