My daughter, Claudia, runs a personal shipping/shopping service from South Carolina.

It is called Box Voyage www.boxvoyage.com She specializes in helping Aussie's get their goods from the US, for reasonable fees.

 

My son, Aaron, lived in Sidney a few years back (got his masters there). After he returned, he set up a personal shipping/shopping business to do just what you want, be a freight forwarder for Aussie shoppers who want to buy from US auctions or retailers on-line and deal with the hassle of shipping. Claudia, my step-daughter, took over the business a year or two ago.

 

I'm not part of the business but I believe she also consolidates (repacks) for multiple purchases and also can provide "personal shopping" by chasing the goods you want.
