I'm in Minnesota for our winter sales meeting. I was in Cannon Falls for 2 days and somebody said that it was -25F yesterday morning. We drove to our resort near Hayward, WI last night and I can tell you that is not exactly warm here either. Heading back home on Friday and it can't come soon enough....though NE Ohio isn't much warmer.

We have WIFI at the resort but it's very spotty and I'm in meetings most of the time so have very little time to get online this week. If I don't respond quickly to your PMs and Emails, sorry about that. Will do better when I get home.

Man, what a life. Vacation just before the holiday season. I'm retired now, but I don't remember having it that good when I was working. Congratulations on your chance to get away to a vacation paradise for a few days. How's the ice cream up there? Are the DQ's open?

I used to work for a Minnesota company and traveled there a lot. It's a very nice place in August.

When I was newly married I went to the Twin Cities for four weeks in July/August and took the bride with me. She loved it and wanted me to try and transfer there. I told her she needed to see February first.

One day as we pulled into the hotel she asked me what the electrical outlets by the parking spaces were for. Answer: February.

This same company liked to have the annual kickoff every January in Brainerd. There's nothing that will make a Power Point presentation drag on like knowing that when it's over you can put on a hat with ear flaps and ice fish, snow shoe or dog sled!

Swap ya Don!

We hit 36deg C today.

That's C as in Celsius.

You work it out!

And it will get hotter before it cools down again!:225:

Don - Hope you don't run into highway closures like we are having here in Ontario on your way back home. Hundreds of vehicles and people have been stranded for days on a major highway just east of Sarnia here in south western Ontario. The good news is how people have opened up their homes to offer food and shelter to those stranded, although many were stuck intheir vehicles for 24 hours or more. Here is one news report:

Most of us real Minnesotans just put away our sandels and shorts this week because of the brisk air coming to town. :yikes::yikes:

I have snow drifts that are 8 feet deep, but what the heck. Spring is only 6 months away!
