Sometimes we Saskatchewan people feel we get lost in the middle of the continent with thousands of people flying over us everyday. No one stops in to see what we are all about. Here is a good article fron the San Franciso Examiner.

Anyone wants to work, if ya got a trade we can probably get you to work quickly, there is a shortage of trained people.

Kinda hard to find twisties back there. Can't sneak out either. She can see too far.

I was there in winter once. It was so cold my breath froze and landed on my foot...broke my toe.:whistling:

:rotf: :rotf:

I lived in Tisdale, SK when I was 8 ... at that age, I guess I never felt "cold" like I do now LOL. I remember building huge snow forts out of blocks of snow cut with a saw or a knife from the snowdrifts and the fun us kids used to have .... and when spring came, running down the muddy street trying to make it to school before the bell rang.... only to realize I'm missing one boot...which was stuck in the muck 100 feet behind me. That stuff was like a huge suction... I could hardly pull my boot out LOL ... wound up being late and getting H$LL from the teacher. I learned how to ice skate there .... I was also a victim of losing everything in a house fire ... which some ppl initially thought I had started coz a week before I was sick at home and decided to pretend I was camping and built a "campfire" on the kitchen counter which burned a hole right through it before my mom got home and caught me LOL

I learned and experienced a lot of things in the short time I lived in Sass-CATCH-who-won .. (some which I can't repeat here lol). Learned to ride a 2-wheeled bike and that jumping over ramps with it can crack your ribs. ... that lipstick is not for eating... lol and that ya don't put water in the gas tank of dad's car!! ... that those newspapers laying on the ground in a sack are not garbage (they belong to the newspaper delivery kid...who beat the crap out of me for doing what I did to his newspapers) .... man those were the days!

Yeah, but you guys all forget to mention the nice warm summers with more sunshine than almost anywhere else in Canada. I would far rather be -30f in sun than close to 0 in the rain and cloud. You never remember the days that are 90F -100F in summers or the fact that most years I am riding my bike for 9 months

And you can still afford to buy a home here and own it.:stirthepot:

But i gotta say it is easy to find your dog if he has run away.:smile5:
