rjmalizia Posted November 9, 2007 #1 Posted November 9, 2007 hello all, Looking for a little help here. Several months back, someone posted a thread talking about how he had used computer/laptop with a microphone and some software to determine the bike's current RPM. I've been trying to locate that thread to no avail. anyway, I was wondering if this rang a bell with any of you out there. Oh...yeah, my goal here is to find the name of that program. I could have sworn that i downloaded it way back then...but then again, i can't find it now. Thanks in advance, Ron

brewser23 Posted November 9, 2007 #8 Posted November 9, 2007 Here's another option for you, www.tinytach.com Basically wrap the lead around a spark plug wire and attach the ground wire and away you go. There is about a 1/2 second lag between a throttle blip and a reading change.
pegscraper Posted November 9, 2007 #9 Posted November 9, 2007 Is there one anywhere that will work on a Mac? They left Mac out completely.
a1bummer Posted December 6, 2007 #10 Posted December 6, 2007 I like the looks of that. I'll give it a try later. Thanks.
