I just got this email from the US Dept of Homeland Security:

 

Our department expects a prompt response to the allegations set forth in the attached document, otherwise, we will assume that you are responsible for this criminal offense.

 

The return email address was U.S. Department of Homeland Security janet01napoliitano@gmail.com

 

 

This came from big sis herself. Imma so skeered. It had a attachment. Do you think I should open it?

 

Maybe I'll forward it to the FBI and see what they have to say about it...

 

 

Maybe we should all click the link and email her with our thanks for what a good job she's doing!

poor janet is probably just some poor person who had her email address hijacked.

 

It happened to me....I was getting hundreds of requests from people demanding that I take them off my mailing list.

 

I didn't have any mailing list....and knew nothing of the emails!

But somehow the mail sent to them had my return email address so it looked like it came from me.

I have even got phone calls like that and they want my personel info so they can verify it is really me. Its really me I tell them, they say they need authentic verificatio.So I put the person next to me on, and they say Yup its really him. then Hangup.:banana:

Guys, If an email address doesn't end in ".gov" it is NOT from the feds! 30 years in two agencies, numerous friends in others. Trust me on this one. Don't where "Janets" address is, but it isn't the US Dept. of Homeland Security:crackup:

I just got an E-Mail from the FBI. Said to open immediately to avoid prosecution. Didn't open it, figured they can come get me. Maybe they will take me somewhere warm.
