Condor Posted November 27, 2010 #26 Posted November 27, 2010 We really would only need to post links to sites that already have all that info. I like www.goldwingfacts.com , they have a wealth of info and pretty friendly folks. And then there is www.gl1800riders.com for the definitive answers on the GL1800. If they don't have the answer you're looking for, it probably doesn't exist. Only problem is that the attitude there is not nearly as friendly as here. Before asking questions on their site, you are well advised to do some detailed searching first. They tend to be kinda rough on people who ask the same common questions that have been answered 100 times. I like the detailed tech info, but not their attitude. They need to have some training from Freebird to straighten them out. Maybe we should have just linked to the Venturers.com tech section... Instead of starting our own???

OldBear Posted November 27, 2010 #28 Posted November 27, 2010 HEY! What's my bike doing on your trailer??? Oh wait, it's still in the garage...(sigh) Great Bike, you're gonna love it. I put 2000 miles on mine in the first 15 days we owned it. NICE RIDE. Congratulations and Ride Safe!
royalstarjac Posted November 27, 2010 #29 Posted November 27, 2010 this should get ya going http://www.allamericanprod.com/tiedown.html . That is the method I used to haul mine from TX to Ga with no problems. Do NOT use the engine guards or saddlebag guards!
