You really should have spent more effort in your wood selection .... that stuff will never stand up over time, not to mention anything other than smooth paved roads (no bumps or potholes). I think ya better re-do the whole thing over with some good wood!!

Well, you do what you want but.....if it were me....I'd have Beer 30 soften up that seat a little. Other than that, it looks great!

I sure hope your not a car-pen-ter cause you may need a whole lot more training. LOL Use them 16p nails too!

Yeh, I do a lot of carpentry but I could not resist. I will take some pictures of a wooden Indian motorcycle and post them. This guy was a true craftsman as the pics will show. It is on display at the Indian dealer in Lowel, NC. I asked the dealer if he owned it and said no. The guys widow now owns it and won't take less than $70,000 for it. It is a work of art.

 

Maybe a week before I can get it posted, but you will not believe some of the details.
