But how many of them OLD FORDs has a chevy engine under the hood?

I have 2 F150s.

 

One has 258,000 miles on it.

 

One has 305,000 miles on it.

 

They both still run and look good.

 

 

Even Ford is allowed a few mistakes!!!

I've had 2 F250's D's. The '87 I sold with 365,000 miles on it, and the '92, I have now, has 240,000 on her. Geeze!! that's over a half million miles on two trucks....

You must have some really long hills to coast those things down. Only problem is you need a Dodge to tow them back to the top.

I've had Ford's as well as Chevy's, Dodges and a few other other cars from Japan. Whether it's First On Race Day or Fixed Daily, I became a FORD Man the day that GM and Dodge took US Government money and Ford didn't. My Chevy driveway will be full of Fords by mid 2011.

I have a 97 PSD with 325k But she don't get used much the price of fuel is a limiting factor. Wing gets 42 mpg if I obey the law. In fact it's sitting on a flat right now. Guess I at least ought to air up the tire. Sure been a good old truck. Makes you wonder why (at least in Texas) most of the trucks on the road with a company sign or logo are of the no Obama Bucks breed. Could these successes be related to longevity and reliability? Things that make you go Hmmmm.
