Gary N. Posted November 23, 2010 #1 Posted November 23, 2010 All is well. In by 7:00 out by 1:00. Had to get a "blow out repaired" (Hernia). I feel great, ready to get back to it but Doc says I have to take it easy for two to four weeks. Guess I'll be surfing the web, watching TV, and eating. All the things I do best. Honey, can you take out the garbage. Oh and the RSV could use a little polish too.
Yammer Dan Posted November 23, 2010 #2 Posted November 23, 2010 Glad you are doing Ok. Take it easy and let things heal. Good thing it didn't happen in the middle of summer.

99silver Posted November 24, 2010 #9 Posted November 24, 2010 Been there done that ! Just listen to what the Doc said and don't do like I did, get feeling kind of spunky and go out and get adventurous before things are healed. Lay low for a few weeks before you do anything, trust me on this one !!!!!!!!!
Eck Posted November 24, 2010 #10 Posted November 24, 2010 Hey Gary, Sure am happy to hear your doing OK and well on the road to recovery. Do what the Dr. says and you should be fine. I surely wouldn't over do it..and from a friend to a friend...I wouldn't push the subject of the bike needing wax... You just may end up back under the knife... having them removed....
Aimhigh Posted November 24, 2010 #11 Posted November 24, 2010 Gary...wishing you a speedy recovery. Take care of yourself and allow the time to heal.
Vance Posted November 24, 2010 #12 Posted November 24, 2010 Glad to hear you are on the mend, Gary. But you might want to go easy on the requests of the 'boss', or "blow out" could have a whole new meaning.

Gary N. Posted November 24, 2010 Author #20 Posted November 24, 2010 Thanks everybody, well except maybe for Carl. YOU CAN'T HAVE HER!. Besides all she knows about quilts is that you sleep under them. I'm feeling 99.9% today. Haven't even opened the tylenol 3s. Going to be hard to not do anything for a while. Getting anxious to head south.
