Yeah, Just Dale Posted November 20, 2010 Posted November 20, 2010 Does the plug that goes into the side of the CD player in the saddlebag just pull out? I want to unplug and remove the player. I've pulled on the plug and it's not coming out. I don't want to break anything by really yanking on it. TIA
rumboogy Posted November 20, 2010 Posted November 20, 2010 Yes it does just pull out. It's a right angle plug...just pull straight out and then I have velcroed the lead up underneath the little storage pocket in the saddlebag. Wally
Kirby Posted November 20, 2010 Posted November 20, 2010 There's a tapered ring on the plug where it plugs together. I can't remember for sure, but you either have to pull the tapered ring out or push it in for it to release. I had the same problen until I figured it out.
finfan125 Posted November 23, 2010 Posted November 23, 2010 I was told it pulls straight out also by the dealer but there must be more to it to that because when I tried to do so it wasnt working. The little ring has something to do with it. I was going to Gatlinburg for the weekend and needed the room so the night before I tried to unplug the changer but it wasnt coming out so being persistant and a little destructive it came out but it kind of pulled the plug apart and it also shorted out my radio. So after my trip with no tunes I took it to the dealer and found out the cable was ruined. Two weeks later they got the cable in because it had to come from Japan and it would have cost $300.00 if it wasnt for the warranty. So be careful unplugging your cd changer.
