Blue Head Lamp

I would like to install one of those light blue head lamps on my 89 VR. Anyone knows what I should get?

I have the Sylvania Silver Star Bulb in mine. It does help somewhat, but I didnt notice a huge improvement. Your experience may be better as your headlight isnt in a dark black tunnel like my 85's is.

2 nearby auto shops does not have cross reference to 64193, which I took out of my 89 VR. Did you happen to log the exact Sylvania Silver Star Bulb number?

I'll post my original question differently. I just added some Wal-Mart Platinum Burners and would like to upgrade my stock head lamp to the blue light, without doing any rewiring. What are my options?

hmm not sure, i think it was just an H4 Bulb there really arent too many differences. I would just take yours out and go down and compare it.

Did you change out, the PIAA H4 bulb, that I had put in there, about 1.5 years ago????

Yep high beam went out
