Prayers on the way Bob. take care of those feet on a daily basis. Just dry cracked skin can be very serious with your condition, good foot care daily is a must. Good luck my friend!

Really sorry to hear about your problem Bob. I know that you've been through a lot already with your other foot and certainly don't need additional problems. Please know that you are in my prayers.

Prayers sent Bob. My fishing/lunch buddy has neuropothy in his lower legs. Can't feel a thing and has to wear braces from the knees down. I told him if he ever falls overboard he's gonna sink like a rock, and I ain't coming after him.... On land we call him 'Tripod'.... :)

Sunday I stepped on a rofing nail around 1:0 and with my periferal neuropathy I didn't feel it. I noticed it around 5:30 when I came in for the day and my sock was stuck to my shoe. As I was walking across the floor I noticed I was leacving a small blood trail. Monday morning all seemed reasonably well so I went to work. Big mistake. As the day progressed I felt sicker and aicker, and when I got home my toe that got the nail in it was all inflamed. Called my doctor last night and he gave me a prescription for some antibiotics. Went to the doctors today, and it does not look good. They gave me a shot of a second antibiotic and a prescription for a third antibiotic. I'm staying home the rest of the week on DB, and have to go back to the doctor's on thursday.

I really do not want to loose another toe, this one is on the other foot, so please pray for me!!!

Wishing you a speedy recovery and hope the antibiotic do their job to help save the toe!

I am praying right now and will be until I hear from you again!

Prayers sent Bob Hope you recoup quickly. May I also suggest while your sittng around watching TV you soak that foot in a small tub of warm salt water as much as you can. Growing up with a contractor for a father I stepped on lots of nails and sometimes they even got infected. Soaking in salt water always cured them.

Well, so far no change except I don't feel half dead any more, so the antibiotics are doing something. I see my doctor again this afternon, and my foot specialist tomorrow. Even though it doesn't look any better it doesn't look any worse either! Ben, yes I am soaking with epsom salts.

Here's what I did. Man, I'm really bored...
