Marcarl Posted November 15, 2010 Posted November 15, 2010 Always,, with the high beam as well,,,, always!!
Dave3 Posted November 15, 2010 Posted November 15, 2010 On all the time. I turn them on after starting the bike so I don't burn out the ignition.
Solodadof2 Posted November 15, 2010 Posted November 15, 2010 I have mine tied into the low beam and run it all the time.
Ponch Posted November 15, 2010 Posted November 15, 2010 I run mine except in a group ride (don't want to annoy the bike in front of me) or at low speeds when the Gerbing's are on.
guns_usn_20 Posted November 15, 2010 Posted November 15, 2010 yes always, 5 lights on the front. I still need more light.
Guest Ken8143 Posted November 15, 2010 Posted November 15, 2010 Always, especially after I followed my wife who was driving the car. First words when we stopped: "Wow - that really lit up your bike," and it was broad daylight. That was right after I installed the passing lights.
Pegasus1300 Posted November 15, 2010 Posted November 15, 2010 Yes except in groups when not the lead.Bypassed the switch and put a seperate switch on the handlebar and thru a relay. That way I can run them high or low beam.
hunter 1500 Posted November 15, 2010 Posted November 15, 2010 Yes I have them hooked into the low beam so they're on with the low beams.
warriorhoneybee Posted November 15, 2010 Posted November 15, 2010 always, unless when i turn them off before i kill the motor to restart for less drain than no but when i dont forget, always.
Digger Posted November 16, 2010 Posted November 16, 2010 Always on, but did install the switch on the fairing in case I want to shut them off ie low battery
Motorcycle Mike Posted November 16, 2010 Posted November 16, 2010 Always, along with the headlight modulator.
LilBeaver Posted November 16, 2010 Posted November 16, 2010 Absolutely NOT. While I like to be visible, I don't want to blind the oncoming drivers... That just seems like a suicide wish.
Sgtglenn Posted November 16, 2010 Posted November 16, 2010 (edited) I run using these hot white LED running lamps switched on at all times,... only draws .1 volts when feeling uncomfortably vulnerable I activate the headlight modulator too. The combination will wake the comatose! :yikes: http://www.motorcycleimpacts.com/images/led-running-light-pods.jpg Edited November 16, 2010 by Sgtglenn added power use
