rumboogy Posted November 11, 2010 #1 Posted November 11, 2010 Thought they did a pretty nice job of "updating" this bike. They changed more than just the color. http://newproductlaunch.kawasaki.com/Products/PhotosLarge.aspx?ProductId=495&PhotoId=141438&featured
oldgoat Posted November 11, 2010 #2 Posted November 11, 2010 i like that black one now if i can just win the lotto?
Guest Ken8143 Posted November 11, 2010 #3 Posted November 11, 2010 I like what I see! any idea on the dinero needed to get one?
bryan52577 Posted November 11, 2010 #4 Posted November 11, 2010 Thought they did a pretty nice job of "updating" this bike. They changed more than just the color. Seriously, they could do more than just paint???? Dang, I'd never of thunk it! Bryan
bongobobny Posted November 11, 2010 #5 Posted November 11, 2010 Awwww, man, don't let Buffalo Bodner see this, he wishes his new scoot was all black...
Condor Posted November 11, 2010 #7 Posted November 11, 2010 They should have thought a little more on those saddlebags. The one thing I didn't like on the 1stGenMKI is the side loaders. PITA packing them. Otherwise it looks 'Coostem Guy'....
CrazyHorse Posted November 12, 2010 #8 Posted November 12, 2010 Looks like every other bike out there, boring, but at least they are doing something.
showmebob Posted November 12, 2010 #9 Posted November 12, 2010 I will take the V/4 over the v twin any day, no mater what make, if i was going to buy a V twin it would be a harley, resale is better if nothing elece, I dont see any better bike out there outher than the Venture V/4 motor, I just wish that yamaha would put the new V max motor on one.
SilvrT Posted November 12, 2010 #10 Posted November 12, 2010 Looks like every other bike out there, boring, but at least they are doing something. My sentiments exactly! Looks like one of dem Harleys ... surprised they didn't paint it flat black... yukkk!
hig4s Posted November 12, 2010 #11 Posted November 12, 2010 It is just a Voyager with no trunk, no passing lamps, a short wind screen, and older Nomad bags. They basically just made a less serious version of their full dresser, just like the Road Glide is to the Ultra. Yamaha could put the Venture fairing with a short shield on an RSTD and call it something else.
wes0778 Posted November 12, 2010 #12 Posted November 12, 2010 Is it just me or does the fairing look like after the final design, some one said "Oh by the way I think it needs a fairing!". IMHO that thing is fugly!!!
RedRider Posted November 12, 2010 #13 Posted November 12, 2010 But then, take a look at the Connie14. That is a sweet bike. RR
royalstarjac Posted November 12, 2010 #14 Posted November 12, 2010 This is what I call "not standing still". It's more than a stripped down version of a current bike. http://www.webbikeworld.com/eicma-2010/bmw-k-1600-gt/
KiteSquid Posted November 12, 2010 #15 Posted November 12, 2010 Interesting version of the Vulcan Voyager. Not for me as I limit myself to owning one V twin motorcycle at a time and nobody is interested in my 1950 FL.
Dmnordin Posted November 12, 2010 #16 Posted November 12, 2010 The biggest problem I see with it is that "Kawasaki" word - everyone I've known who owned a Kawasaki usually had it in the shop for repairs, forcing them to drive their cage most of the time. Doug
uechi kid Posted November 12, 2010 #17 Posted November 12, 2010 I like the Vaquero but it looks to me like a Voyager without the trunk and a smaller windshield. I have a Suzuki M95 that's built by Kawasaki (same bike as the Mean Streak) and have had no problems with it at all.

Doug I've owned two Kaws, an 88 750 Ninja, and a 03 ZR7S put 24k on the Ninja and 14k on the ZR not one problem with either.
dunvilsteev Posted November 12, 2010 #20 Posted November 12, 2010 I think it looks cool. Roadglide-ish! Saddlebags would be a nightmare! And where the hell is the cassette player?
GlennTuc Posted November 12, 2010 #21 Posted November 12, 2010 Doesn't it look a lot like the Stratoliner Deluxe? Plus, I never buy a motorcycle without a cassette player. Glenn
