Scooter Bob Posted November 10, 2010 #4 Posted November 10, 2010 I see it's very similar in design to the Voyager Kits. That is, it adds "training" wheels to the stock bike, and retains the stock drive train and tire. I don't have a trike, but I've seen a few issues in campgrounds and such where the extra wheels straddle a rut, and the stock tire is left "hanging", and you have no traction. Just something to think about:scratchchin:, Scooter Bob
bongobobny Posted November 11, 2010 #5 Posted November 11, 2010 I think it looks a lot nicer than the Voyager kit, and is a cost effective alternative to going "real" trike...
steamer Posted November 11, 2010 Author #6 Posted November 11, 2010 One thing dif.from the voyager is the wheels are set back 5" from the bikes rear axcel center line which helps with steering and traction. The youtube vidio shows them riding around on lawn and through a ditch. The price is pretty good, and they offer an electric reverse.A lot of us old farts can't afford $12000.00 for the hannegen kit.this kit is more in my price range.I would like to hear from someone that has one.
