Aussie Annie Posted November 8, 2010 Posted November 8, 2010 Geez, the quike didn't like a Pirelli MT66 on the front Wobbled like a plate of jelly, and not a nice feeling:doh: so with less than 900 klm's on the tyre I had to replace it I think it just didn't suit the leading link suspension I have on the front.[just wish it hadn't been quite so expensive]
Squidley Posted November 8, 2010 Posted November 8, 2010 Unfortunately testing new theories out cost some money. I have spent my fair share of cash on things that didn't quite work out like I would have liked them to
PBJ Posted January 22, 2011 Posted January 22, 2011 Very Interesting Annie. Especially considering that Earls type front ends were developed in the 50's and 60's when Car and bike tires were a lot more alike. I'm not a big fan of the CA conversion but I would have imagined that It would have been a suitable adaptation.
