Aussie Annie Posted November 8, 2010 #1 Posted November 8, 2010 Geez, the quike didn't like a Pirelli MT66 on the front Wobbled like a plate of jelly, and not a nice feeling:doh: so with less than 900 klm's on the tyre I had to replace it I think it just didn't suit the leading link suspension I have on the front.[just wish it hadn't been quite so expensive]
Squidley Posted November 8, 2010 #2 Posted November 8, 2010 Unfortunately testing new theories out cost some money. I have spent my fair share of cash on things that didn't quite work out like I would have liked them to
PBJ Posted January 22, 2011 #3 Posted January 22, 2011 Very Interesting Annie. Especially considering that Earls type front ends were developed in the 50's and 60's when Car and bike tires were a lot more alike. I'm not a big fan of the CA conversion but I would have imagined that It would have been a suitable adaptation.
